Never wonder what is happening with your VA claim again.
VA Tracker gives you one simple place to follow your disability claims, benefits decisions and appeals — without checking government portals over and over.
Connect your VA account and see your whole benefits journey as a timeline you can actually read. Get told the moment something changes, understand what each step means, and know what usually comes next.

Similar claims spend about 7 weeks at this stage.
An example, drawn with sample data. Your own claims appear the same way.
Think “FlightRadar for your VA benefits”.
Instead of asking the same question every week — has my claim moved yet? — VA Tracker watches it for you.
When something changes, you know. When nothing changes, aggregated processing data helps you understand where your claim sits compared with similar cases.
Three steps, then it runs on its own.
-
1
Connect your VA account
You sign in on VA's own login page, with the account you already use — ID.me or Login.gov. VA Tracker never sees your password. You can disconnect it at any time.

2
VA Tracker watches your claims
It checks your claims for you and records every status change with the date it happened. That record becomes your timeline, so you can see how long each stage actually took.
-
3
You get told when it matters
A notification when a claim moves to the next stage, when VA asks you for a document, or when a deadline is coming up. Nothing else.
Everything about your claim, in one dashboard.
Real-time claim tracking
Follow VA disability and benefits claims from submission through to the decision.
Instant status alerts
Get told as soon as your claim moves to the next stage, by email or push notification.
Appeals tracking
Follow Higher-Level Reviews, Supplemental Claims, Board Appeals and legacy appeals. Depends on VA restoring third-party access to the Appeals Status API.
Clear timelines
Complicated VA statuses become a step-by-step journey, with the date each step happened.
Processing insights
See how long similar claims typically spend at each stage, so a quiet month is not a mystery.
Estimated next milestone
An estimate of when your claim may reach its next stage, based on historical and aggregated data. An estimate, not a promise. VA sets the real dates.
All claims in one place
Track several active and past claims from a single dashboard, instead of one portal per question.
Plain-English explanations
What a status means, what usually happens next, and whether you need to do anything.
Document and deadline reminders
Never miss a request for evidence or a date you have to answer by.
Built for Veterans, not for bureaucracy.
Government systems are designed to process claims. VA Tracker is designed for the person waiting for one.
A claim can sit for months with no visible movement. That silence is the hardest part. VA Tracker turns those months into a journey you can actually follow.
What people ask first.
Is VA Tracker part of the VA?
No. VA Tracker is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. VA.gov stays the authoritative source for your claim.
Does VA Tracker file claims for me?
No. VA Tracker shows you the status of claims you have already filed. It does not submit claims, change them, or give legal or benefits advice. For help filing, work with an accredited representative.
How does signing in work?
You sign in on VA's own login page using ID.me or Login.gov, then grant VA Tracker permission to read your claim status. Your password is never given to VA Tracker, and you can withdraw the permission at any time.
Which claims can I follow?
Disability compensation claims and other benefits claims that VA exposes through its claim status service, including pension and burial claims.
Can I follow appeals?
Appeals tracking is planned, and it depends on VA restoring third-party access to the Appeals Status API. Until that happens, appeals will not appear in VA Tracker.
How accurate are the estimates?
The estimates describe what similar claims have done in the past. They are drawn from historical and aggregated processing data. Your claim can move faster or slower, and only VA decides the real dates.
